Provakil | QA Engineer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Manual Tester to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing, with a
strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance
processes. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and
reliability of our software products through thorough testing and collaboration with
cross-functional teams.
Role Objectives and Responsibilities:
Conduct manual tests.
Perform different types of testing, such as exploratory, sanity, integration, system and
end to end, regression testing.
Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
Explore and implement optimum framework/tools for the manual testing of different
components of the SaaS product.
Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes.
Monitor and troubleshoot failures in test cases integrated in the build process.
Create test plans, test cases and test reports.
Plan and prioritize testing activities.
Communicate with the QA Engineer to implement software applications.
Monitor assurance metrics and process results.
Key skills:
2+ Years of proven work experience as a QA Engineer. Bachelor's degree (preferably in
the engineering eld).
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Complete understanding of Manual systems and databases.
Good knowledge of programming languages like Python, JavaScript.
Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Good knowledge of scripting and other related procedures.
Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Lambda.
Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing.
Familiarity with the software development process.
Familiarity with Build and DevOps processes.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively. Ability to manage project deadlines.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, no-nonsense, fun working agile environment.
