Qualification Details:
Interview via Video-Conferencing will be held on 09.04.2021 at ICAR -IASRI, New Delhi for the following posts under projects “Network Project on Agricultural Bioinformatics and Computational Biology under (CABin Scheme)”. The appointment will be on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.

3. Qualification:
A. Essential: Master’s in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. OR Having 3 year’s Bachelor’s degrees who have acquired professional Master degree (3 years) like MCA are eligible. OR Candidates having Master’s degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s Degree should have NET qualification. OR Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent
B. Desirable:
a. Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics.
b. Knowledge of programming in LINUX/ R/ Perl/ JAVA/ PHP/ JSP and use of various software & tools.
4. Emoulments :Consolidated Rs.31,000/- + HRA(as per central govt. norms) per month for 1st and 2nd year & Consolidated Rs.35,000/- + HRA (as per central govt. norms) per month from 3rd year.
