The Andaman & Nicobar Pollution Control Committee, Department of Science & Technology, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Dolly Gunj, Port Blair invites applications from bright and energetic candidates for the following categories of posts to engage them on Short term Contract Basis for a period of one year.
i. The selected candidates will be required to undertake the work of sample collection and analysis, monitoring of pollution levels for generating database to check pollution levels and preparation of reports for its onward submission to Hon’ ble NGT, MoEF & CC, CPCB etc.

4. Essential/Requisite qualifications: in Degree Bachelor Environmental Science /Civil Environmental Engineering/ Engineering with Public Health as a subject from recognised University

4. Essential/Requisite qualifications: B.Sc. Chemistry/ Biotechnology in Environmental /Diploma Science/ Civil Engineering from recognised University /lnstitution

4. Essential/Requisite qualifications: Diploma in Computer Engineering of 3 years duration recognised from Universit /lnstitution
Age Limit
33 – 38 yrs
Terms and Conditions:
1. The period of appointment will be 01 (one) year, purely on contract basis.
2. He/ she needs to serve at Port Blair and in case of requirement; he/she has to attend essential duties in any part of these islands.
3. The contract appointment shall not have any right & claim for regular appointment in any manner whatsoever.
4. If his/ her conduct / performance is found unsatisfactory his/her contract can be terminated after giving one month’s notice.
5. He/she is not entitled for TA/DA for attending interview.
6. Candidates applying for more than one post has to submit different application forms for each post.
7. For awarding points for experience, 1 (one) point will be awarded for each completed one year subject to maximum 05 points for Computer Assistant and 10 points for others.
