Job brief
We are looking for a senior OCR consultant/developer who possesses a passion for pushing OCR technology to the limits and will work with our talented team to build the next generation OCR engine and libraries that can work across various applications and devices.
Job Responsibilities
Design and build advanced & intelligent OCR engine that can work across platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving OCR engine performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Desired Skill sets, Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in science and technology.
Total 3+ years of software development experience including experience in .Net.
2+ years of relevant OCR development experience ; Experience in open source OCR engine Tessaract would be a hug advantage
Experience in Optical Form Design and Optical Form Standards
Understanding and hands on experience in Scanning Technology
Demonstrate knowledge OPTICAL CHARACTER RECOGNITION (OCR) software
Integration of scanning capability to database
Strong conceptual, communications, and technical skills
Demonstrated experience in optical form scanning and optical recognition for conversion to data base.
Knowledge in extracting data via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and transforming metadata
Work experience in .Net Development
Experience building and deploying .Net applications is a plus.
