ISI Kolkata Recruitment 2022 Eligibility Details
Indian Statistical Institute inviting applications for the recruitment of two (02) Project linked Junior Research Fellows on purely temporary basis to work on the project titled “Advanced Machine Learning Techniques for Cryptanalysis” funded by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (CAIML) of the Institute, Kolkata.
1. Position: Project linked Junior Research Fellows
2. No of post: 01
3. Qualification: Essential: M.E./ M. Tech. or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Cryptology and Security/ Electrical Engineering/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering/ Information Technology, or M.Sc. in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Computer Science/ Electronics. Candidates with M.E./ M. Tech. as the qualifying degree must have at least 60% marks (or equivalent grades) in M.E. M. Tech. as well as in the immediate preceding degree. The candidates with qualifying degrees in science must have at least 60% marks (or equivalent grades) at the master’s level and must be CSIR/ NET qualified.
4. Desirable skills: Good programming skills (in C/ C++/ Python). Academic/ project/ research experience in the areas of Machine Learning and/or Cryptology.
5. Pay: 31000/- (Rupees thirty one thousand only) plus House Rent Allowance per month as per rules of the Institute.
6. Tenure of appointment: The appointment will initially be for ten months from the date of joining in the Institute, which may be extended later/ terminated earlier, depending on availability of funds and performance of the candidates.
